Delete Your Account & Data

Divera ("we", "us", or "our") gives you full control over your account and personal data. This page explains how to delete your Divera account and the data associated with it, either directly in the App or by request if you cannot access it.

1. How to Delete Your Account in the App

The fastest way to delete your account is from within the App:

• Open Divera
• Go to Profile
• Open Settings
• Tap "Delete account"
• Confirm the deletion

This permanently deletes your account and the associated personal data.

2. Request Deletion Without the App

If you cannot access the App, you can request deletion by email. Send a deletion request to divera.app@gmail.com and include the email address associated with your Divera account so we can locate and verify it.

3. What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove your personal data, including:

• Profile information (name, username, bio, avatar)
• Your dives and dive photos
• Comments and likes
• Follow relationships

4. What May Be Retained

We will delete your personal data within 30 days of an account-deletion request, except where we are required by law to retain it.

5. Deleting Only Some Data Without Deleting Your Account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove specific data:

• You can delete individual dives and their photos directly in the App.
• You can withdraw consent for optional data (e.g., location access) in Settings.
